Delivery Policy

The delivery options available to you at the checkout may vary according to other items you purchase within the same order. Unfortunately, you are unable to select more than one delivery method per order.

In some instances, we will despatch your order in several parts however you will be notified of this when you checkout.

Returns/ Cancellation policy

Under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have a right to cancel your order* within the period of 14 working days, beginning with the day after your order was received. You must make notice of cancellation, clearly stating your request to cancel, in writing, by one of the following options:

1. By delivering your notice (either by post or in person) to our address below

Please take extra care when placing your order. Due to the efficiency of our team, it is not possible to amend orders (products, addresses, delivery details etc) once they have been placed.

In the event of goods already being delivered to you, you have a legal duty to retain possession of them and to take reasonable care of them. You are under obligation to restore these goods to the supplier (UK Care Direct) and, under this contract, you will be responsible for sending your order back to UK Care Direct at your own expense, with the exception of faulty or substituted goods, where returns costs will be reimbursed to you.

If you are returning your item, you will need to include all paperwork in your package (invoice, booklets etc) along with a note explaining why the item is being returned and the action you would like taken (whether that is a refund or replacement).

Return postage will only be reimbursed if the item is faulty / defective when it arrives. If the item is being returned for other reasons, then by default, the return postage will not be covered and taken on a case by case basis to decide if return cost will be reimbursed or not.

Due to the size / weight of the products, we do not recommend customers send their items back via Royal Mail or DPD / Interlink as due to the high postage charges. We advise customers to return the item via Hermes Standard Delivery.

If a product is returned through services other than Hermes and the return postage has been agreed to be reimbursed, we will only reimburse up to the cost of Hermes and not the full amount charged by other carriers.

It is your responsibility to make sure goods are delivered back to us and not damaged in transit. In the event of any damage or loss, the claim to recover our costs will be raised. All the goods must be returned unused, with the original packaging intact.

The cost of the goods on this cancelled contract (including any taxes paid) will be reimbursed to you as soon as possible or latest within the period of 30 days after the notice of cancellation. The charge to cover the costs of recovering goods might be deducted if you fail to return or do so at our expense.

In the case of UK Care Direct not being able to supply the product ordered by you we may offer you a substitute, equal in quality and value. UK Care Direct will meet the cost of returns of such a product if you do not want to keep it.

If you have received a faulty item, you must follow the same procedure above and also state the item being faulty and what the fault is. The item will be inspected by our quality team when we receive it back and, upon confirmation that the item is genuinely faulty, we will either issue a replacement or refund (including delivery costs of sending it back via Hermes only)

*Exceptions to the cancellation rights, unless faulty:

  • Goods made to your specification or clearly personalised goods
  • Personal hygiene products
